Those arriving by private car to meet the Berry’s London Superfast should use the appropriately marked bays in nearby Earle Street car park. These may be used for dropping off coach passengers before 10.30hrs (Free for 10 mins max stay for dropping of) and again as a pickup after 17.45hrs. (The car park itself is not charged after 18.00hrs, providing adequate surplus capacity on busy days at this peak time).Private Cars are prohibited from using the bus station at any time.

Taxis will use the designated setting down and departure bays.

Please use the clearly signed footways between both the car park and taxi bays and the Express Coach Departure bay. For your own safety please do not cross the bus station behind reversing buses and coaches.

On double deck vehicles seats 60 to 63 and 68 & 69 are rear facing. Seat layouts may vary slightly on some coaches. Although we will endeavour to comply with requests for specific seats these cannot always be guaranteed. All London Service Coaches are non-smoking throughout.

Standard
Are those seats offered at normal fares including both standard and discount Senior Citizen fares on London Superfast Services.
Premium
Are those seats situated at the front of the coach or around tables for which there is a small additional charge of £1 on day ecursions and £1 each way on London Superfast Services.
Discount
Are those seats which may be offered at a lower than standard seat fare on a late availability basis.

Local journeys are available between main departure point towns and villages

SUPERFAST 1 - Travels between Tiverton, Wellington, Taunton and Bridgwater.
SUPERFAST 2 - Travels between Taunton, Ilminster, South Petherton, Cartgate Picnic Area, Yeovil, Ilchester, Royal Naval Station & Wincanton.
SUPERFAST 3 – Travels between Taunton, Street, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Frome, Warminster and Codford Village.

London Connections


UNDERGROUND –On arrival at bay D, Hammersmith Bus Station, directions for the Underground on the lower concourse are clearly marked for District and Piccadilly lines. The Hammersmith and City line is close by. One day travel cards are available from Hammersmith and all tube stations from £8.40* for adults and £4.20* for children under 16, for unlimited use after 9.30am and all day at weekends on all tubes, British Rail and buses in London.

BUS AND COACH – Main departure points and popular routes are available from the bus station, full details overleaf. Berry’s arrival/departure point at bay D is clearly marked.

OLYMPIA – Within a short walking distance of Hammersmith or can be reached by bus route nos. 9, 10 or 27.

EARLS COURT – Direct service is available by tube (Piccadilly or District line) or by 190 bus from Hammersmith Bus Station.

HEATHROW – Regular tube service to Heathrow is available on the Piccadilly line and serves all four terminals.

ON YOUR RETURN JOURNEY – Bus and coach departure area is clearly marked from the underground. All our arrivals and departures use bay D, Hammersmith Bus Station, please follow signs.

PLEASE NOTE – The coach will be available for loading at the departure point approximately 10 minutes before the scheduled time of departure. Centre West/Hammersmith Bus Station offers a fully covered and heated waiting area or a selection of pubs and restaurants in the concourse immediately below the departure area.

Berry's Coaches will either travel direct to or extend their Superfast London Service to these venues on selected dates, or if you use our London Service to Hammersmith Bus Station, Earls Court is only three stops away on the underground whilst Olympia is within a short walking distance or can be reached by Bus routes no's 9, 10, 27 or 391 from the Bus Station. Flight Information


HEATHROW – Direct tube from Hammersmith, frequent service in both directions, fares *£5.30 single adults, *£2.60 single children.

 GATWICK – from Hammersmith to Victoria Railway Station (combined tube/British Rail ticket available).

 HEATHROW - A regular and frequent service and return to Gatwick by Speedlink or Jetlink Coach.

 LUTON – Jetlink Coach Service also operate regular and frequent services outward and return to Luton Airport from Heathrow.

General Information


Reservations can be made direct by telephone (01823) 331356 to our computerised Booking Office and passengers may travel on any combination of departure/return times and days at our supervalue fares.
PASSENGERS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO RESERVE THEIR SEATS AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.

ON YOUR RETURN JOURNEY - Bus and coach departure area is clearly marked from the Underground. All our arrivals and departures use bay D, Hammersmith Bus Station, follow signs. Will passengers please note that on Sundays as Superfast 1 & 2 Services both have 8.00pm departure times from Hammersmith, or when duplicate coaches are operating, departure times may be staggered - please be vigilant.

CARS - are strictly not permitted into the Bus Concourse.

ANIMALS & PETS - Please note, regrettably and for the comfort of other passengers we are unable to allow animals and pets on our coaches, except guide dogs for the blind - passengers should advise the office when booking.

UNACCOMPANIED CHILDREN - The Company cannot accept any responsibility for the supervision of passengers aged 12 to 16 years of age travelling unaccompanied, although couriers will endeavour to ensure their wellbeing. It is recommended that they carry identification and the name, address and telephone number of their parent and any person who may be meeting them. It is the responsibility of the child’s parent or guardian to ensure that the child is seen onto the coach and is met at his/her destination, and the Company cannot accept responsibility for failure to do so. Children under 12 years of age cannot travel unless accompanied by an adult.

DEPARTURE TIMES - Due to bus station controls coaches will depart promptly from Bay D, therefore passengers are advised to allow plenty of time for their journey to Hammersmith. PLEASE NOTE - The coach will be available for loading at Hammersmith Bus Station/Centre West, Bay D approximately 10 minutes before the scheduled time of departure.

OPEN RETURN TICKETS - are valid for 40 days from the date of the outward journey and return journey details must be notified to Head Office at least 24 hours in advance; early reservation is advised although availability of seats cannot be guaranteed. Once return journey details have been notified to our office the ticket is not transferable or valid for any other journey nor are refunds available on unused portions. Open return tickets or the second /return portions cannot be booked on-line; these must be reserved through our office.

LUGGAGE - Berry’s Coaches (Taunton) Limited accepts no liability for loss of or damage to passenger’s luggage or for other personal property howsoever caused. Luggage is carried at owners risk and must be clearly labelled with name and address. When handing luggage to the driver on boarding the coach in London will passengers please advise the precise destination point, particularly with regard to Taunton where there are a number of dropping points. Customers are permitted two medium size suitcases (maximum weight 20kgs per case) and one piece of hand luggage per person. For health and safety reasons passengers will be asked to load/unload luggage themselves which, in the driver’s opinion, is excessively heavy.

MONEY & VALUABLES (such as jewellery) and essential medicines should be retained on the person at all times. Full conditions relating to the carriage of luggage are contained in the company’s Conditions of Carriage; copies of which are available from the company’s head office.

MOBILE PHONES - For the comfort of others would passengers only use mobile phones for essential calls and keep conversations to a minimum.

Although the majority of services will be operated by our double and single deck executive coaches, we reserve the right to substitute standard coaches in extreme emergencies only.

The Company will endeavour to operate the service in accordance with the timetables shown but arrival times are dependent on traffic conditions and weather. No liability will be accepted for delays howsoever caused.

We would remind passengers that smoking is prohibited in all sections and please note that no hot drinks, alcohol or hot food may be taken on to the coach.

Refunds will only be considered if tickets are cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the date of travel. No refunds are available on half portions of tickets.

Tickets are only valid for the time and date of travel as indicated. Any changes in date or time of reservation must be notified to our office at least 24 hours prior to the date of travel, although availability of seats cannot be guaranteed. If tickets are paid and collected on board the coach, it is the passenger’s responsibility to check all details and notify our office of any inaccuracies or amendments required.

Regrettably bicycles cannot be carried.

Berry’s Coaches (Taunton) Ltd reserve the unconditional right to refuse a booking or terminate a clients carriage and will be under no obligation for any refund, compensation or loss which may be incurred.
