Private Charter

1) I only want to hire a single coach is that okay?
Yes, that is fine. You can hire a coach for anything from a group of school children to the local swimming pool or an extended European sightseeing tour; no requirement is too big or too small.

2) I need to hire multiple vehicles, can you handle this?
Certainly you can; we can arrange any number of coaches from one or several locations to your desired destination.

3) What size of coaches do you operate?
We operate a range of 41 to 71 seater standard and executive coaches and also 28 or 32 seater corporate/limousine vehicles.

4) What facilities are available onboard?
Standard coaches have up to 53 reclining seats, air jet ventilation and P.A. system. Executive single deck coaches have up to 49 reclining seats and double deck executive coaches have 71 reclining seats; all executive coaches feature full air conditioning, WC/washroom, hot/cold drinks facilities, double glazing and P.A. system.

5) What facilities are available on your corporate/limousine coach?
In addition to normal executive coach features our corporate limousine coach has either 28 or 32 reclining seats all around tables, full galley kitchen with refrigerator and preparation areas, fresh percolated coffee, microwave oven, video and DVD; Physio bed facilities are also available on request.

6) We are going on a tour and require hotels and ferry reservations. Can you help with this?
Yes - Berry’s Coaches are able to make reservations on either ferries or the shuttle, often at advantageous group rates and also locate and reserve hotels throughout UK and Europe. In addition theatre tickets, boat excursions, holiday insurance etc., can be arranged to meet your holiday requirements.

7) How do I obtain a quotation?

London Superfast Service

1) Do you depart from my local area?
Berry’s London Superfast Services operate from Tiverton, Wellington, Taunton, North Petherton, Bridgwater, Ilminster, South Petherton, Yeovil, Ilchester and Wincanton.

2) Where is your London arrival/departure point?
All our London Superfast Services arrive/depart from Hammersmith Bus Station one of the most modern transport interchanges in Europe. In addition to bus connections there is immediate access to the District and Piccadilly tube lines.

3) How many services a day do you operate?
Services operate twice daily with an additional Friday evening service from some departure points You can travel on any combination of departure/return times and days either to or from London. Single, Day or Period Return tickets are available.

4) How can I make my reservation?

5) How much are your fares and are there any concessions?
We aim to provide the best quality and value service between the West Country and London. Normal fares for adults are £13 single, £14 day return and £18 for a period return; reductions are available for children, senior citizens and 16 – 21 year olds with a discount card. (click here for details)

6) How do I pay?
When booking by telephone payment can be made by cash or cheque when boarding the coach where the Hostess will provide you with your ticket or alternatively by credit card at the time of booking. Credit card payment is required for internet bookings.

7) Do I have my own specifically reserved seat?
Yes - Unlike other express service operators when booking with Berry’s Coaches you and your travelling companions are allocated your own specific seats together. When booking by telephone or through an agent you may, subject to availability, choose specific seats around tables, upper deck or lower deck etc., as suits your preference.

8) What facilities will I enjoy onboard your coach?
Our single and double deck executive coaches feature onboard toilet/washroom, reclining seats, air conditioning for those hot summer journeys and a Host/Hostess providing hot and cold drinks and refreshments.

9) Can you arrange London hotel accommodation for me?
Yes - By contacting our office by telephone on 01823 331356 we can arrange an inclusive travel and hotel accommodation package. The standard and location of your hotel can be discussed with our reservations staff who will endeavour to meet your requirements and advise the cost.

Daytours

1) Do you depart from my local area?
Yes - Berry’s Daytours operate from Wellington, Taunton, North Petherton and Bridgwater.  We also operate specific day excursions such as Buckingham Palace, Clarence House, etc., from, Ilminster, South Petherton, Yeovil, Ilchester and Wincanton. Please telephone our office and request a copy of our current Daytour Programme.

2) What type of excursions are available?
Berry’s Coaches offer a wide range of day excursions throughout the year ranging from city shoppers such as Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, etc., scenic tours, theatre and pantomime shows, to special events and well known attractions such as the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Alton Towers to name but a few. 4) How do I pay?
When booking by telephone, for the majority of excursions, payment can be made by cash or cheque when boarding the coach or alternatively by credit card at the time of booking. Credit card payment is required for internet bookings. When theatre, pantomime or entrance ticket is involved payment will be required within seven days of your telephone booking.

5) Can my friend get on at a different departure point?
Yes - When you telephone to make the reservation you will be asked how many places you wish to book and where you wish to depart from.
