S.S. Great Britain with lunch and free time in Bristol - Wednesday 8th April 2020
The S.S. Great Britain was the longest passenger steam ship in the world. It carried passengers between 1845 & 1854. What an experience it must have been travelling two weeks to get to New York from Bristol!
The vessel has a lifetime history which you can read about & experience on board, as you take a tour of this great ship.
Once the tour has finished & you have worked up an appetite enjoy some lunch and relax. Then afterwards spend some free time in Bristol & maybe enjoy some retail therapy.
Lunch includes: Chefs seasonal vegetable soup, a selection of sandwiches, with a choice of ham & tomato, Cheddar cheese & tomato or tuna mayonnaise & cucumber, with tea or coffee to follow.
