Book A Trip To Worcester & Witley Court & Gardens With Berrys Coaches

Firstly we visit the cathedral city or Worcester is a historical delight. Famous for Royal Worcester Porcelain, the English composer Sir Edward Elgin and not forgetting Worcestershire Sauce! Take a stroll along the medieval Friar Street with its Tudor-style houses or browse the array of shops the city has to offer and enjoy some well deserved retail therapy. Worcester is a beautiful place to visit all year round.

In the afternoon we visit Witley Court and Gardens. With its striking ruined mansion, sweeping gardens, dramatic fountain, woodland trails and wilderness play area, Witley Court offers plenty to explore.

Step back in time to a bygone age and wander through what was once a Victorian party palace. Picture glittering balls, distinguished guests and rooms created to impress at every turn. Displays and an engaging audio tour help bring the mansion’s heyday to life, before its fortunes changed after the First World War. A devastating fire in 1937 left the building roofless, creating the atmospheric ruin you see today. Don’t miss the Perseus and Andromeda fountain, one of Europe’s most impressive water features.

*Prices starting from £30, dependent on excursion & pick-up point. (Concessions for seniors & children).
