Book A Trip To Stratford-upon-Avon & Kenilworth Castle & Gardens With Berrys Coaches

Set in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside is Stratford-upon-Avon. Being famous as the birthplace of William Shakespeare, this town is brimming with over 800 years of history and culture. Also, with a wide range of leisure and shopping experiences, Stratford-upon-Avon has something for everyone.

If you like history why not take our combined tour to Kenilworth Castle. Spanning over 900 years, Kenilworth Castle features a 1120s Norman keep that survived a legendary medieval siege in 1266. Its golden age began in 1563 when Robert Dudley, Queen Elizabeth I’s childhood friend, spent a fortune transforming the fortress into a palace to impress her. Today, visitors can climb to the Queen’s apartments for panoramic countryside views. You can also explore the stunning Elizabethan Garden—recreated from Dudley’s 1575 design for the Queen—featuring an aviary, fragrant blooms, and an ornate fountain. Reflecting its modern care, the historic site holds a Platinum Green Impact Award.

*Prices starting from £33, dependent on tour & pick-up point. (Concessions for seniors & children).
