Book A Day Trip To The National Botanic Garden of Wales Project Berrys Coaches
The National Botanic Garden of Wales is an internationally significant Millennium project set across 568 acres of Carmarthenshire countryside. Blending modern design with historic landscapes, it is dedicated to conservation, horticulture, science, education, leisure and the arts.
The Garden features over 8,000 plant varieties, themed gardens, a National Nature Reserve, orchid meadows, children’s play areas and the popular Gruffalo Trail. Its centrepiece is the Great Glasshouse by Norman Foster, the world’s largest single-span glasshouse, housing a dramatic Mediterranean landscape with ravines, waterfalls and diverse global plant collections.
Beyond the Glasshouse, restored Regency parkland offers lakes, cascades and miles of walking trails. Open year-round, the Garden also includes cafés serving local produce, a garden centre, gift shop and a packed programme of events, festivals, exhibitions, workshops and family activities.
